Hello, I'm Greer Worsley

I’ve been cooking since I was a teenager and got tired of reheating the plastic-covered meals my powerhouse single mum prepared before she left for work each afternoon. My first jobs were in restaurants, and for 10 years I’ve been a recipe developer and food photographer for a variety of online publications. Food was always my first love. I’m inspired by ingredients and the seasons, food writing and images, and flavour, always flavour.
Delilah & Co Catering, Greer Worsley

Delilah was born

A chance conversation with my cafe-owner sister in 2018 led to the purchase of Delilah, a vintage-style food van. Getting back into the kitchen as Delilah’s chief cook inspired me to expand my reach into private catering – for birthday parties, dinner parties, corporate events, weddings, in fact, any occasion where people gather to eat. A shared meal around a table filled with beautiful food, crisp wine and good conversation – now, that’s my idea of an afternoon well spent.

I’ve always viewed food as an act of generosity and a chance to nurture. There’ll always be a slice of something sweet to have alongside your coffee at my kitchen bench, or a slab of gooey cheese to enjoy with your wine. The occasion and the company might be the reason, but the food is always the excuse.

I’m a country girl at heart, having grown up in Orange, NSW, but I lived in Sydney for over a decade, and have travelled the world. Now I’m raising my three daughters in the rolling green hills of Exeter in the Southern Highlands. Between work and school, music lessons and dance classes, life is busy, really busy. But at the end of the day, there’s always a meal and a conversation and a chance to connect.
